About TIES 2016

The TIES 2016 Education Technology Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis December 10-13, 2016. Over the course of four days, attendees will have access to information and resources covering hundreds of educational technology-related topics. Presenters have hands-on experience with the subjects they address and attendees will leave ready to hit the ground running with students and staff. From Makerspaces and Google apps to professional development and digital portfolios, TIES 2016 workshops and seminars shed new light on innovative classroom technologies.

Based on rave reviews from previous years, TIES 2016 will once again feature the following highlights:

Preconference Workshops

On December 10-11, TIES 2016 attendees have the opportunity to attend these workshops, which are in-depth sessions that address of wide range of topics.

Keynote Addresses

2016 Keynotes Dean Shareski and Carl Hooker promise inspiring content. You will leave the keynote session ready to dig into the breakout sessions and learn more!

Main Conference

One thing is certain…our breakout session speakers have experience in and passion for their area of interest. We are fortunate to have so many talented educators who submit ideas for sessions that not only include step-by-step “how to” instructions, but often hands-on opportunities and follow-up resources.

Awards and Recognition

From the District Technology Leader Award to the Technology Team Award to Exceptional Teacher Awards, we are proud to play a role in acknowledging the hard work, determination, and commitment that comes with being an educational technology leader in Minnesota.

Leadership Seminar

Developed for school and district leaders charged with leading innovative change, we encourage school leaders to register with a team of three or more. Individual registrations are welcome.
